Dr. Gael Wheeler and Dr. Douglas Nelson are a husband and wife team. They offered a comprehensive care blending both conventional western medicine and holistic therapies, such as nutritional and lifestyle counseling. Their osteopathic tradition holds that the body is largely a self-regulating and self-healing entity, and the role of the osteopathic physician is to assist those self-healing capabilities.

Since Dr. Christine Damian joined Dr. Wheeler in 2008, the medical services were enhanced with expanded services. Dr. Damian continues to practice along the same beliefs and offers the same caring services and high quality therapeutic nutritional supplements that Carrollwood Integrative Medicine patients have come to love from Dr. Wheeler. She is a board certified physician who specializes in Internal Medicine, Bariatric Medicine (Medical Weight Loss), Age-Management Medicine, and Aesthetic Medicine. Bio-identical hormone replacement, menopause and andropause therapy, allergy treatments, and wellness will remain constant. In addition, Dr. Damian is skilled in providing effective weight loss regimens, full aesthetic care to include but not limited to Botox cosmetic, facial fillers, facial rejuvenation, peels, acne and rosacea treatments, and pigment correction.

Dr. Damian received her medical education and training from Yale University School of Medicine, University of South Florida School of Medicine, and Harvard School of Medicine. She has practiced in the Tampa Bay area for the last five years. Her memberships in numerous medical associations keeps her abreast of the ever-changing landscape in medicine. With a focus on safety, quality and the best natural physiologic results, Dr. Damian takes extra measures to evaluate and individualize care for her patients.
